In the autumn, there were a lot of persimmon on the tree. I was born in the south of China. I never saw persimmon in my home town. I did not human can eat persimmon.
At that time, the persimmon just fell onto the ground and nobody went to pick it up.
Before I came to Tokushima, I saw persimmon in Nara and Hiroshima too. I never tried to buy it. I thought maybe Japanese just use that for decoration.
After I came to Tokushima, when I saw that in the store, I bought some back because of my curiosity.
My god, it was so delicious. I hung up some on the window of my old apartment. So everyday I could have one.
Later I introduced that to honey, the American guy. He became to like that very much. Actually persimmon became his favorite fruit.
He said he never saw that in USA. After we came to NY, we went to the Asian store, we saw persimmon. But the name was Japanese persimmon.
I do not know why it was Japanese persimmon.

=============================
Row row row your boat...(USA)
http://yan.ln3gs.com/

Ginkgo biloba tree near my window

My seat and table was near the window. After I rode the bicycle for one month, I met the Tokushima policemen.
It was a middle night, I tried to go back to my old apartment in Minami Jyousannjima. The policemen were standing in the parking place. No way to run away. I did not steal the bicycle. But I knew that was a stolen bicycle. I hoped the bicycle would be OK. The policemen checked all of things, my alien card. They asked me why I came to Tokushima Japan. They even asked me what I was studying.
At that time, I thought, never deal with the policemen in Japan. It was an annoying thing to go through all the thing with them.
And then they forced me to go to the police office to sign to pass the bicycle over to the owner. After I put some air in that, I rode for some times. And then it became flat when I tried to climb Mountain Bizan with friend MN. I got it repaired in the store near the Tokushima central park. That was the same as the first time I came to Japan. The different thing was that this time I had experience. I knew very clearly if I did not get a part-time job as soon as possible, I was going to die. This was the motivation I got from being poor. Really, if you felt you had nothing to eat, you would try hard to look for a job.
First I just bought a magazine and looked at every ad in it. Tokushima is a small city. There were not so much part-time job available.

I kept looking for part-time jobs. Right at that time, it was the time of Awaodori. One night, I went out for interview. The owner said no to me.
I came to the river, I listened to the sound of the drums. I sighed. I felt how I could live through in this small city.
I took picture of the river. The build on the right side was SOGO building. The blue lights made me feel so sad.
I sat on the bank for a long time. I began my PH.D course in Engineering department of The University of Tokushima. I majored information science and intelligent systems.
Before I started that, I was dreaming about that in the future I wanted to study hard, and get my Ph.d degree in time and become a great researcher.

I just came to Tokushima only with my suitcase. That was my second time that I came to Japan. Last time, the first time when I went back to China, I cried, and thought, I would never came back to this place, this country anymore. I thought I really did not like Japanese.
But I came back, after I traveled in China form east to south, from South to North. I tried to get a job in China. It seemed that nobody was nice to me. I almost died in Kunming, Yunnan Province.
I chose to come back.

=============================
Row row row your boat...(USA)
http://yan.ln3gs.com/

Congratulations on my new blog of Row row row your boat.........(Tokushima Version)

Congratulations on my new blog of Row row row your boat.........(Tokushima Version)
I made this blog when I was in Japan.
